THQ komt met Chaos expansion voor DoW2

Chaos.jpgYesssss, Relic nieuws! De mannen achter Homeworld en Company of Heroes komen met een expansion voor Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2. Deze retestrakke RTS kwam begin dit jaar uit onder de THQ vlag, en revolutioneerde de singleplayer mode van het hele genre. Nou ja, dat vind ik in ieder geval. Zelf heb ik de game on- en offline helemaal stuk gespeeld, en snakte ik al gelange tijd naar meer. Want naast Space Marines, Ork's, Eldar en Tyranids telt het Warhammer 40k universum natuurlijk nog talloze andere factions.

En jawel, de gisteren aangekondigde expansion Chaos Rising zal een van die factions toevoegen; de Chaos Marines. Deze gedeserteerde Space Marines hebben ooit een pact gesloten met The Chaos Gods en bla bla bla... Lees het zelf maar na. Het gaat er hier even om dat de Chaos Marines cool zijn, en dat deze uitbreiding een must have gaat worden voor zowel Warhammer als Relic fans. Een zeer terechte keuze dus. Naast nieuwe singleplayermissies voor de Blood Ravens rond (waarschijnlijk) de opkomst van de Chaos Marines, zal de uitbreiding de Chaos Marines ook als speelbare multiplayerfaction introduceren en voor de bestaande factions nieuwe units en maps toevoegen. getekende art en graphics zijn sowieso echt supervet... de rest vond ik niet echt spectaculair
